The new Plustek eScan A350 is a  true stand-alone network scanner.  It simply connects to your network and can operate independently from a PC. There's no need to run add-on software on any PC.

The A350 network scanner is able to scan to email, cloud (Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, Box, etc..), USB, FTP and network folders.

It supports on-board mail authentication. The Plustek A350 can scan to Sharepoint 2008/2010/2013 but not Sharepoint online.

The large colour IPS touchscreen and a clean user interface make the A350 very easy to use. The home user interface can be further customised to suit your business.

This touchscreen also offers a quick way to review and crop targeted images, before delivering the final digitally captured data.

A scanned document can be sent to multiple destinations, for example to a USB drive and to SharePoint.

The A350 features a fast built-in 50 page automatic document feeder, with ultrasonic detection and long life rollers.

Note:If on occasion you have a requirement to use a Twain scanning application, then the A350 can be connected via USB to a PC. You wouldn't normally buy a true network scanner to do that, but it's nice to have this option should the need arise.

ABBYY FineReader Sprint OCR software is included as a bonus. It's installation is not required to scan images.
