cables.And the OM5 Bend Insensitive Multimode Fibre delivers OM4
performance in the 850-950nm window, while maintaining compatibility
with 50/125 OM4, 50/125 OM3 and 50/125 OM2 cabling systems.
Comsol's OM5 50/125 fibre patch cables feature
a flame retardant LSZH (Low Smoke, Zero Halogen) cable jacket to ensure
minimal toxic and corrosive gas emissions in the event of a fire, making
them compatible with most data centre requirements and critical area
applications.
OM5 cables support 40Gb multi-wavelength
transceivers @850-950nm; 40Gb and 100Gb Link up to 200 metres@850nm;
10Gb link up to 600 metres@850nm and 1Gb up to 1100 metres@850nm. Each
cable is 100% optically tested and supplied with its own individual
insertion loss test report for maximum performance and reliability.
