Product Description
CABAC fibreglass
sleeving is designed to provide mechanical
protection for electrical cables and thermal
insulation for high-temperature components. The
flexible sleeve is easy to apply over metallic
wires to provide an abrasion resistant cover
that prevents damage. The fibreglass material
has excellent strength and durability, with a
tight weave that ensures the sleeve will
maintain its round shape while remaining
flexible. Fibreglass sleeving is flame
retardant, water repellent and recommended for
high temperature applications.
The combined
mechanical, thermal and environmental protection
that this sleeving provides mean that it is
typically used to insulate high temperature
components in home and industrial appliances.
Common applications include electric heaters,
toasters, stove elements, ovens, refrigerators,
motors and generators.
Our fibreglass
sleeving is made with a smooth interior and
exterior finish to a wall thickness of
approximately 0.45mm.
